He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James R. Dougherty and Shirley A. Dougherty (Winterberg); his wife Betsy Dougherty (Conrad); his children, George Dougherty of Petal, Christine Dougherty Clayton of Petal, Tabetha Dougherty of Kearneysville and Joshua Dougherty (Samia) of San Francisco, California; his siblings, Cathy Dougherty of Martinsburg, Terry Harrison (Billy) of Harpers Ferry, Pat Dougherty (Tracy) of Harpers Ferry and Dennis Dougherty (Jan) of Harpers Ferry; his brother-in-law Steve Conrad; and his brother James Dougherty. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
