She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Edwards and Martha C. Edwards (Dodson); her husband William Merle "Bill" McDonald; and her daughter Mamie Walters. She is survived by: her grandson James "Jim" Whittington; and her son-in-law James F. Whittington of Kearneysville.
