He is survived by: his children, Charles Daniel "David" Rickard of Brandywine, Stephen E. Rickard (Megan) of Shepherdstown and Lisa M. Tobery (David) of Kearneysville; and his brother Danny Rickard of Martinsburg. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
