He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Chaney and Elsie Chaney; his brother Charlie Chaney; his parents-in-law, Donzie and Verda Leadman; and his son-in-law David Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Devonna Chaney; his daughters, Heather Crouch (Tyson) of Hurricane and Leigh Ann O'Dell (Sam) of Hurricane; his grandchildren, Grace (Christian) of Hurricane, Seth of Hurricane, Carson of Hurricane, Parker of Hurricane, Peyton of Hurricane and Kayleigh of Hurricane; his siblings-in-law, Evert, Dianna Chapman of Hurricane and Roger Leadman of Midlothian, VA.; and his siblings, Carolyn Sheets of Proctorville, Connie Carter of Huntington, WV., Leslie Chaney (Arlene) of Sacramento, CA and Danny "Reed" Chaney (Suzie) of Tucson, AZ.. He is also survived by his family, attending his grandchildren.
