With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Clayton Groff of Hurricane, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Groff. He is survived by: his sons, Eric Groff of Hurricane, Leon Jarman (Chastity) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Justin Groff of Hurricane; his siblings, Sharon Oxley of Scott Depot, Judy Romano of Scott Depot, David Groff (Linda) of Scott Depot, Daniel Groff of Hurricane and Keith Groff of Hurricane; and his grandchildren, Kyndal Groff, Cameron Jarman, Bella Jarman and Carsen Jarman. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Richards name to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
