It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loren Pennington of Hurricane, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on March 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Martin Pennington and Letha Schuck Pennington of Nevada; his wife Emma Jean Pennington; his daughter Vallorie Pennington; his siblings, Irma Cicero, Reba Dunlap, Elsie Nary, Ralph, Jesse, Carl "Skip", Gene and Dennis Pennington; and his grandson Barry Loren Harper.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie L. Harper of Charleston, Belinda "BJ" Hill of Hurricane and Chuck "Bill" Pennington (Loretta) of St. Albans; his sisters, Lorena Dunlap of Durham, NC, Frankie McCune of Evans, Myrtle Stinnett of Charleston and Cindy McCutcheon (Bill) of Millwood; his grandchildren, Terry Lee Harper (Jennifer), Brandi Michelle Emch (Matt), Jacob Loren Pennington, Brooke Ann Pennington, Kevin Ray Cook, Mark Anthony Cook and James Tate "JT" Hill (Lori); and his wife's children, Beth Ann Dudley (Dave) of Hurricane and John Powell (Nicole) of Scott Depot. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, and five great great grandchild.
