It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Lawrence Gillispie of Hurricane, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Gillispie; and his siblings, Roger, Stephen Gillispie and Leoda McDaniel. He is survived by: his mother Jessie L. Gillispie of Winfield; his children, Daniel Gillispie (Josie) of Summerville, FL, David Gillispie (Alissa) of Wildwood, FL, Alyssa Beach of North Charleston, SC and JoJo Gillispie of Hurricane; and his brothers, Mike Gillispie (Debbie) of Hurricane and Clinton Gillispie (Karin) of Nitro. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.
