It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Daniel McKay (Hurricane, West Virginia), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clifford and Pauline McKay; and his brother Joe McKay. He is survived by: his wife Lydia; his children, Jamie Garnes (Josh) of Cross Lanes and JC; his grandchildren, Ryleigh and Clifton Garnes; his siblings, John (Annette) of Charleston and Joyce Cook (Steve) of Nitro; and his sister-in-law Cheri McKay of Hurricane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Teays Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Building Fund, 3926 Teays Valley Road Hurricane WV 25526.
