He was predeceased by: his parents, Brinton Willis and Eva Lovejoy Willis; his grandson Jeffrey D. Riley Jr.; and his son-in-law Robert Wade. He is survived by: his wife Hope Jarrell Willis; and his children, Jackie Lee Willis Jr. (GT) of St. Albans, Jesse Willis of St. Mary's, Teresa Wade of Isonville, KY and Laresa Riley (Jeff) of Red House. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
