She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Knight and Nellie Gray Knight; her husband Harry Lee Spurlock; her son Michael Spurlock; and her sister Doris Kenned.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Hunsaker (John) of Ooltewah, TN, Teresa Spurlock of Huntington, WV and Sharon Spurlock of Huntington, WV; and her grandchildren, Angela Patton (Tim), Chris Hunsaker and Aaron Kitchen.
