She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Kenneth Ferrell, Jr. and Maudie Marie Fry Ferrell; her husband Harry Keith Sowards, Sr.; her son Jackie Lee Sowards; her grandson Michael Sowards; her siblings, Geraldine Farrell, Wilson Ferrell Jr., Jack, Eddie and Grady Ferrell; her stepchildren, Bill Sowards, Brenda Fredline and Peggy Angel; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Ferrell and Bobby Anderson; and her fiancé Bill Lusher.
She is survived by: her children, Tonia White of East Lynn, WV, Harry K. Sowards, Jr. (Betty) of East Lynn, WV, Roger Sowards, Sr. (Peggy) of Wayne, WV, Rex Sowards of East Lynn, WV, Gregory Sowards of East Lynn, WV and Ricky Sowards (Jenn) of Mason County; her sisters, Gloria Anderson of Crown, WV and Peggy Tomblin of Rockport, TX; her daughters-in-law, Kathy Mabry and Anna Howard; and her sisters-in-law, Rose Farrell and Geraldine Ferrell. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
