She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho Dixon and Shirley Boyd Dixon; her sister Betty Brown-Hickman; and her grandson Michael Joseph Hatten. She is survived by: her brother James Nixon; her son David Christman; and her friends, Mary Jane Miller, Debbi Fri, Micah Smith, Lisa Scarberry, LeAnn, George Hapney, Christy Scarberry, Tim Dixon and Beverly Hills Church of Christ Family. She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
