He is survived by: his parent Armenta Spurlock Frye; his wife Oddetta Carter Frye; his children, Lavetta Frye of Holden and James "Duke" Frye of Logan; his grandchildren, Gavyn Frye of Holden, Victoria Frye of Holden and Shayla Frye of Holden; his son Claude "Bo" Frye; and his siblings, Mac Frye (Gale) of Logan, Bernie Frye and Wanda Ells (Dave) of Whitman.
