With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Retha Bartgis (Hedgesville, West Virginia), who passed away on September 26, 2020 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Retha Bartgis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonza Myers and Ida C. Franklin Myers; her husband Robert B. Bartgis; and her siblings, Anna Ruth Myers, Hilda Love Myers, Pauline McDaniel and Paul Myers.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Michael Bartgis (Denise) and Rodney L. Bartgis (Debra); her grandchildren, Rachel Bartgis (Will) and Robert Stefan Bartgis; her siblings, Charlotte Wood and Byron Myers (Mary); and her parents-in-law, Carol, Saralie and Sherry Bartgis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitors are asked to wear masks, practice social distancing, and follow recommended guidelines.
