He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene E. Slattery and Catherine Slattery (McCarthy); his sister Janice Slattery; his son-in-law Mike Bell; and his daughter Laura Slattery Samford.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Slattery (Devin); his daughters, Margaret "Marcie" Bell and Julie McInerney (John); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth "Beth" Samford Duke (Kyle), Emily Samford, Caitlyn and Devin McInerney.
