He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Elder and Corrine Godwin Elder; his wife Darla Renee Elder; and his sister Carla Gregory. He is survived by: his children, Chad Elder, Megan Huffman and Brianna Elder; his grandchildren, Maddison Huffman, Logan Huffman and Tyreese Welch; and his siblings, Brian Elder, Donna Jenkins and Dianna Dye.
