It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Harold Stanhagen (Harpers Ferry, West Virginia), born in Flagstaff, Arizona, who passed away on November 1, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Horchler Stanhagen and Mary Elizabeth Stanhagen (Williams); and his son John Stanhagen. He is survived by: his stepmother Mildred Elizabeth Stanhagen (Snyder); his wife Pauline; his brother Frank Stanhagen (Barbara) of Stafford; his son Eric Stanhagen; his wife Beth of Williamsburg, VA; and his stepsons, Charles Fulton of Washington, DC and David Fulton (Jhinuk Hasan-Fulton) of Herndon, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of William Stanhagen may be made to Children's National Medical Center, 111 Michigan Ave, NW, Washington, DC or to the Alzheimer's Association (information available on their website).
