He is survived by: his children, Beth Dowell (Eric Penwell) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Steven Dowell of Harpers Ferry, WV; his grandchildren, Autumn Penwell, Brilynn Penwell, Charli Penwell, Releigh Dowell and Bailey Dowell; his mother-in-law Betty Painter; and his brothers, Martin Main and Bobby Dowell.
