With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Mae Gainer (Harpers Ferry, West Virginia), born in Elkhorn, West Virginia, who passed away on September 26, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Harvey Akers and Pearl Gillispie Akers; her husband Robert Merrill Gainer; her son Richard Gainer; and her brothers, William Akers (Betty) and Shirl Akers.
She is survived by: her son Joe Gainer (Betty) of Harpers Ferry; her grandchildren, Kelli Duranko (Lee) and Joey Gainer; her great grandchildren, Kelcie (Colin), Kara and Kaitlyn; and her great great grandchild Rowan.
