It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Walter Nicewarner (Harpers Ferry, West Virginia), born in Millville, West Virginia, who passed away on July 11, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Raymond McKinley Nicewarner; his daughter Kathy Nicewarner; his siblings, Catherine Dillow, Mildred Nicewarner, Agnes Fraley, Alvin Nicewarner, Charles Nicewarner and William Nicewarner; his half-brother Raymond Nicewarner; and his son-in-law Bruce Davidson.

He is survived by: his parent Sarah Elizabeth Caniford Nicewarner; his wife Edith "Hon" Nicewarner; his children, Kay Davidson of Harpers Ferry, WV, Terry Nicewarner (Margie) of Harpers Ferry and Mike Nicewarner (Pam) of Charles Town; his brothers, Donald Nicewarner of Martinsburg and Bob Nicewarner of Inwood; his half-brother Joe Nicewarner of North Carolina; and his grandson Josh Nicewarner (Rosie) of Harpers Ferry.
