With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Dorrene Hale of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, born in Bakerton, West Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Gageby and Elizabeth M. Ambrose Gageby; and her brother Edward Glenn Gageby. She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Hale; her son Donald Bret Hale, Sr. (Laura) of Harpers Ferry, WV.; her grandchildren, Captain Bret Hale, Jr. and Chi (Sarah Hale DeLawder) of Fort Belvoir, VA; her great grandchildren, Gemma, Everett, Vera, Jessa Hale and Chanel DeLawder (Coco); and her sister-in-law Mary S. Gageby.
