She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Sander and Martha "Suhr" Sander; her husband Rondal Cogar; her son Mark Frederick Cogar; and her siblings, Agnes Braun, Ella Wist, Hattie Meyer, George Braun, Bill Sander, Freddie Sander, Johnny Sander, Agnes Myers, Martin Sander and Melvin Sander.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Eileen Matlack, David Rondal Cogar, Barbara Ann Unger (Eugene), Phillip Porter Cogar (Tammy), Robin Lee Cogar, Clifford Ray Cogar (Lynn) and Jeffrey Scott Cogar. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
