She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Thomas "R. T." Friend and Mary Louise Friend (Spedden); her husband Lloyd Winters; her siblings, Richard "Dick" Friend and Katherine L. Friend; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Winters.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven A. Winters and L. Wayne Winters; her siblings, Rebecca McDowell, Carol Huggins and William "Bill" Friend; and her grandsons, Joshua Winters and Ethan Winters. She is also survived by one great granddaughter and four great grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
