He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd H. Canterbury and Doris F. Canterbury (Watson); and his former wife Wilma J. Canterbury. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Canterbury (Yopsic); his children, Terri Lynn Canterbury, Tammy Jo Sweat (Thomas), William Canterbury, Jr. and Jacob "Jay" Canterbury; his sister Beverly Moore; and his nephews, John Moore (Kathy) and David Moore (Kathleen). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
