He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Chiodo and Raphaela Chiodo (Luzzaro); his wife Elizabeth Chiodo (DeAngelis); and his brothers, Pietro and Vincent Chiodo.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia McDaniel (Denny), Lisa Chiodo, Angela Cheripko (Robert), Peter Chiodo (Pati), William Chiodo (Janet) and Christopher Chiodo; his grandchildren, Dennis McDaniel (Tammy), Elizabeth McDaniel (Cody Rice), Robert Cheripko, Jennah Nelson (Ryan), Alexa Cheripko, Jacobb Chiodo (Ashley), Rachel Sharpe (Tyler), Kurt Chiodo, Ciara McKenzie and Mia Chiodo; his great grandchildren, Dylan McDaniel, Desmond, Layla Chiodo, Demi, Reece Nelson, Charlotte and Indy McKenzie; his sisters, Frances Cunningham and Marie Chiodo; and his sisters-in-law, Josephine Chiodo and Terry DeAngelis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
