She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Summers and Margaret Summers (Eden); her husband Roy Birkhimer; her daughter Nancy Birkhimer; and her siblings, Evelyn "Kay" Kemp, Eileen Boniey and Charles Summers.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles, Rodney and Frank; and her grandchildren, Adam, Brandy, Eric Erin, Jennifer, Brad and Cara. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
