Lazaro Jesus Gonzalez 39 of Follansbee, WV formerly of Miami, FL died Saturday, October 16, 2021, at home. He was born on May 17, 1982, in Miami, FL a son of Sylvia (Gutierrez) Gonzalez and Dagoberto Gonzalez of Miami, FL. Lazaro recently was employed by Diversified Energy in Follansbee, WV. He had a love for fishing, boxing, and listening to music.
He enjoyed playing video games with his son in his spare time. Lazaro was most known for his personality. He had a way to make people laugh and was always the sunshine in the room who made everyone's day brighter. In addition to his mother, Lazaro is survived by his soulmate and the mother of his children Alissa Loebig at home; three sons, Daniel Gonzalez, Ryan Perez, and Lazaro Gonzalez, and a daughter on the way Adalina Gonzalez; a sister, Jessica Gonzalez (Carlos) of Miami, FL; a nephew and niece, Zen, and Zoe.
Visitation for Lazaro will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 4:00 pm until the time of the funeral liturgy of the word at 7:15 pm with Rev. Fr. Jude Perera officiating at Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037. Inurnment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Mullenbach Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
