He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Adkins Sr. and Louise Guthrie Adkins; his former wife Bernice Adkins; his grandchildren, Terri Gilkerson and Cody Stratton; and his sisters, Wanda Strobe, Betty Burns and Patty Adkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie E. Farley Lilly Adkins; and his children, Billye Front (Bob) of Ghent, Brenda Stratton (Art) of Flat Top and Larry Lilly. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
