She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur John Tessier and Lura Gertrude Fountain. She is survived by: her husband James Joseph Kriss, Jr.; and her children, Buddy Kriss of Federalsburg, MD, Jeanne Scharf (Jeff) of Ridgely, MD and Cassie Reed (Andy) of Middleway, WV. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
