He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Welker and Helen Welker; and his brothers, Charles, Bill, Louie and David.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Fisher Welker; his children, Bill Welker and Missy Ramsey (Steve); his grandchildren, Ashley Holstein (Ricky), Zachary Ramsey and Kaelea Welker (Bobby); his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Paislee "PJ" and Robby; and his sister Janet Sue Liberty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
