He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Evan Holt and Helen Pearl Haynes Holt; and his sisters, Barbara Watkins, Betty Ann Hodges and Carolyn Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Holt; his sons, Murray Eugene Holt II (Kelly) of Pinch and Kevin Michael Holt of Charleston; his grandchildren, Megan Holt of Pinch, Brandon Holt of Pinch and Paul Cooley (Emma) of Pinch; his great grandchild Griffin of Pinch; and his brother Jesse Marvin Holt of South Charleston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
