He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Crabtree and Nellie Crabtree; his wife Melva June Crabtree; and his son Elmer Blakley "Buster" Crabtree. He is survived by: his children, Elaine Crabtree of South Charleston, Tamaria Crabtree of Cocoa, Raymond Crabtree of Cross Lanes and James Crabtree (Susan); his grandchildren, Carolyn Bird (Roger), Stephen Crabtree (Nina), Justin Crabtree (Anna), Angie Cato (Chad), Kari Woodson, Carrie Bleichwehl (Michael) and Christine Corsberg (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Zachary Bird, Mackenzie Taylor, Aidan Cato, Ainsley Cato, Kaitlyn Woodson, Lila Woodson, Michael Bleichwehl, Alexander Corsberg and Nicholas Corsberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
