She was predeceased by: her husband Benot F. Garretson Jr.; and her son Ricky A. Garretson. She is survived by: her son Paul Garretson; her daughter-in-law Michele Garretson of Dunbar; and her siblings, Patsy Straughan McIntyre (Lloyd) of Charleston, William Straughan (Henrietta) of Roebuck, SC and Harry Straughan (Kathy) of Sunset Beach, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial.
