He is survived by: his children, David Hayes (Veronica), Arnie Hayes (Lisa) and Susan Black (Greg); and his sister-in-law Judy Pauley. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
