It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Darlena Carter of Dunbar, West Virginia, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Delbert Jones and Julia Shamblin; her husband Harold Carter; and her siblings, Denver, Dick, Harold, Alton, Dora, Nim and Roy.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Carter (Pam) of Kingston, GA, Lynn Ferrell (Mike) of Charleston, WV and Sherry Carter of St. Albans, WV; her sister Mae Hall of Newport News, VA; and her grandchildren, Jason, Gabe, Justin, Kathleen, Lauren, Kristen, David and Shayna. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
