He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Black and Annie Black; and his brother Harry Black Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Dakisha Smith (Jeffery) of Columbus; his sister Denise Black of Institute; and his niece Chantel Black of Institute. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
