She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Anna Hager Messer Pauley; her husbands, Clifford Ferrell Messer and Hubert Pauley Jr.; and her children, Clifford "Moe" Messer, Ernestine (Tony Linn), Alice (John Thibodeaux), Brenda Schmitt, Everett Messer, John (Janet Messer) and Rick Messer. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
