He was predeceased by: his parents, William Broughton and Dorothy Broughton; his grandparents, Samuel Chambers, Myrtle Miller, Malin and Gertie Broughton; and his brother William Broughton (Sonny).
He is survived by: his close friend Wilma Adkins; his children, George, Jeremy of Wyoming, Luke Browning (Jodi) of Danville, WV and Shana Mayer of Wyoming; his siblings, Lisa Gossage (Gerald), Paul Wayne Chambers (Rachel), Charles "Eddy" Broughton (Debra) and Mark Broughton (Pamela); his grandchildren, Derek, Jennings, Sammy, Justis, Mason, Calliope, Emilee, Anna and Karleigh Browning; his great grandchildren, Emmett and Tinlee; and his close friend Bandit. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
