He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gollie and Mildred Frances "Montgomery" Gollie of Claypool, WV.. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Kay Gollie (Blankenship); his children, Melissa Kay Soltesz (David Soltesz) of Moundsville, WV and Joe Gollie (Ashley Megan); his grandchildren, Savanah Kay Soltesz of Moundsville, WV, Isaac Hunter Gollie of Hurricane, WV, Jonah Cruz Gollie of Hurricane, WV and Ezra Joseph Gollie of Hurricane, WV; and his sister Shelia Rene Combs (Frank Combs) of Man, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
