He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmette Adkins and Florence Adkins; his daughter Telisa Jonette Adkins; and his siblings, Elwood Cook, Donnie Adkins, Ilene Shane, Betty Renfroe and Janet Asbury.
He is survived by: his wife Cora Jean; his daughters, Karen Sue Javins (Daniel) of Foster, WV and Kacee Janee Pauley; his son-in-law Jack Pauley of Beckley, WV; his siblings, Jarvie Gene Adkins of Seacoal, WV, Letha Miller of Ashland, KY and Dolly James of Ashland, KY; his grandchildren, Ashley Fitzwater (Caleb), Andrew Javins (Morgan), Alan Javins, Trey Pauley and Gabi Pauley; and his great grandchildren, Jameson Javins and Myles Fitzwater.
