He is survived by: his wife Linda Wedgewood Shroades; his children, Cheryl McGraw of Chester, Chrissy Tustin (Pat) of Chester, Terry Shroades (Tonya) of Chester and John R. Shroades III of Chester; his sisters, Janet Stowers of Lisbon and Gloria Still of Chester; his grandchildren, Krista McGraw, Linsey Vulgamore, Whitney Shroades, Kaitlyn Van Dyke, Tyler Grim, Terrilynn Shroades, Jesse Davis and Caleb Shroades; and his great grandchildren, Landyn Shroades, Riliegh Shroades, Shilyn Kane, Abigeil, Bam-Bam and Luke Van Dyke.
