He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Wilkes A. Wilcox; his sister Sally Wilcox Wells; his brother-in-law Linwood T. Wells; his wife Laura Brandon Wilcox; his daughter Susan Wilcox Ellis; his son-in-law Philip Ellis; his grandson Brandon Wilkes Ellis; his sister Jacqueline Wilcox Weiss; his siblings-in-law, Vinton C. Weiss and Sara Brandon Wilson; his nieces and nephews, Mary Bowsher (Michael), Vicky Dawn Chappell, Michelle Weiss Vareen (Dwayne), Linette Wells, Teddy Wells and Eric Weiss (Lisa); and also Dorothy Fairbanks Wilcox.
