She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar W. Elliott and Ruth N. Barr Elliott; and her husband Fred E. Whitacre. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy V. Holland (Kenneth) of Springfield, WV, Sharon R. Baker (Walter) of Slanesville, WV and Donna K. Chaney (Bill) of Capon Bridge, WV; her brother Ronald E. "Buddy" Elliott (Mary) of Cross Junction, VA; and her grandchildren, Jessica Hansroth (Joseph), David Chaney (Heather), Shelley Copeland (Josh), Kelly Holland, Jared Holland and Tyler Holland. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
