He was predeceased by: his parent Tracy Shaw; and his brothers, Kenneth Gene and William Glen Payne. He is survived by: his parent Pearl Edna Lingerfelt Payne; his wife Gertrude T. "Trudy" Troiano; and his daughters, Kathy White (Don) of Georgia and Tina Stone (Mike) of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
