He is survived by: his wife Penney Carpenter; his sons, Devin Carpenter (Erin) and Logan Carpenter (Kaleigh); his sisters, Renee Miller (Jeff), Keena Sanders (Bud), Sherry Berkenstock and Benetta Deynzer (Paul); and his sister-in-law Donna Carpenter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
