She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard Arbogast, Jr. and Rosemary Williston Childers; her husband Rodney Rushing; her son Harold "Bucky" Murphy; and her siblings, Williams Howard Arbogast III, Johnnie Arbogast, Sharon Williams, Karen Simons and Helen Arbogast.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Merriman (Charles) of French Creek, WV, Joyce Arbogast of Buckhannon and Steven Arbogast of Buckhannon; and her siblings, Bobby Arbogast of Buckhannon and Robin Arbogast of Buckhannon. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
