It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Coretha Jean Smith (Buckhannon, West Virginia), born in Walkersville, West Virginia, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lee and Mary Mildred Hull Rogers; her spouse Hollen Gene Smith; her sons, Donald Smith and David Gene "Grubby" Smith; and her brother Robert Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughter Darla (Delmar Tenney) of Buckhannon; her grandchildren, Chris Smith, Jessica Smith, Jackie Cutlip (Mark Hinzman) and Brittany Smith; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Drew Hinzman, Ridge Smith, Gavin Shaver, Serenidi Smith and Brendan Smith; and her siblings, Elizabeth (Worthy Hall) of Lost Creek, Mary (Jerry Hannon) of Buckhannon and Charles "Junior" Rogers (Brenda) of Weston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
