He is survived by: his mother Norma Knox Helbig; his wife Marilyn Knox (Marks); his daughters, Stacey Knox Motley (John) of Raleigh, NC, Melissa Ryan (John) of Fairmont, WV and Beth Ann Knox of Chapel Hill; his granddaughters, Taylor, Peyton Motley and Alexa Ryan; his siblings, Christy Pigman (Dave) of Ohio, Barb Knox Rettig of Ohio, Chuck Knox of Ohio and Jeanine Knox Houtsinger (Norman) of Pennsylvania; his mother-in-law Nancy Marks (Turoczy); his sister-in-law Patricia "Patty" Martin (Marks); and his nephews, Nicholas Martin (Regina) of Bridgeport and Billy Martin (Michelle) of Bridgeport. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
