She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Sprout and Arlie Hammon Sprout; her husband David L. Woodson; her daughter Shari Lynne Nease; and her half-sister Ellen Hickman Woodell.

She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Woodson (Christine) of Augusta, Claude E. Woodson (Debbie) of Anderson, SC and Charles E. Woodson of Bridgeport; and her brother James W. Sprout (Ellen) of Gilbert, AZ. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
