He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Roscoe Godfrey and Gladys Harriet Simons Godfrey; and his sister Judy Lynn Davis. He is survived by: his stepfather Clarence "Pete" Rutherford; his wife Amanda Chapman Godfrey; his children, Jeff, Jacob, Braxton Godfrey and Carrie Godfrey; his grandsons, Liam Shingleton and Elijah Godfrey; and his brothers, Robert Godfrey, Jr. of French Creek, Steve Godfrey of Tunnelton and Greg Godfrey of Morgantown.
